1. Do not look for justice or fairness in this world.
2. Hell exists in the mortal world but luckily only few get to visit it. Does
paradise exist too?
3. Some questions have no answers; no matter how many times they
are repeated.
4. The pain of losing a child is never-ending and unrelenting.
5. Suicide throws the parents in a sea of guilt, with no lifeboats in
sight.
6. The departed child is out of sight, but not out of mind, ever.
7. The humans’ tear glands never run out of tears.
8. The deceased child will forever remain a member of the family.
9. In times of tragedy, one finds new caring friends, and loses old
uncaring friends.
10. Months and years become longer after the loss of a child.
11. The lens, through which life is viewed, becomes blurry after such a
tragedy.
12. Tolerance of nonsense and pettiness fades as the appreciation of
love and friendship intensifies.
13. In the aftermath of losing a beloved child, one mostly sees humanity
at its best through the outpour of love and support from every
corner, but occasionally one encounters it at its worst as well.
14. Death rudely and violently invades the inner family circle and
permanently takes the seat of the departed child.
15. Tuesdays are reminders of when darkness took over our clear sky.
16. The sun is not as bright, the sky not as blue, the grass not as green,
the wind not as strong. the joys not as filling, the laughter not as
deep, and the smiles not as lasting. But, despite all these, life
continues, with or without our anguish and protest.
I miss you dokhtaram.
