Thank You Sweetheart

Even though we are in the dark depths of everlasting torment and will be for the rest of our lives, but I would like to thank you Shahdi joon, for having allowed us to experience a few years of sheer happiness in your company.

Thank you for filling our lives, our souls and our home with joy, cheerfulness, contentment, and bliss while growing up. You enabled us to feel the delight and pride of a parent when he/she is gifted with a healthy brilliant child. You enabled us to walk out of every parent-teacher conference, year after year, feeling  exceedingly proud, ecstatic and grateful for having an intelligent, hardworking and bright daughter like you. We always were so proud of your academic achievements and your dedication to your education. With you, we were able to witness the creativity and resourcefulness of an intelligent mind hard at work in performing her school projects in very unique and exemplary fashion. You made us become quite accustomed to hearing compliments and praise of you by your teachers and whoever spent just a few minutes in your company, or by those who had the opportunity to see your natural beauty. We always knew we were gifted with a rare precious jewel in the form of a baby girl. We were always conscientious of our privilege and did our best to keep our precious jewel from any harm, although, despite our best efforts,  we failed miserably at the end and lost you.

Thank you and Arman for enabling us to have a smooth pleasurable ride with parenting because you were both such easy-going and wonderful children. Maybe we became complacent as parents over the years,  and when the road turned bumpy, we were not well-equipped to help you when you needed us the most. For that, I ask your forgiveness daily.

With you, we experienced the exuberance of parenting a beautiful smart daughter. Thank you for all the love and kindness you bestowed on us during your lifetime, all the impromptu hugs, kisses, kind words, and ”I love you"s. Thank you for showing us how it feels to raise a bright, articulate and outspoken pretty girl like you. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your childhood and sharing your joys and laughter with us. Thank you for showing us how it feels to have a loving and kind daughter.

Thank you for introducing us to Barney, Ariel, Mowgli, Mufasa, Belle, Esmeralda, Scooby Doo, Mary-Kate and Ashley, Blue's Clues, Harry Potter, the Vampire Diaries, and many other characters in the fictional world, and many fun activities in the real world in which you participated.

Thank you for selecting Toby as a new member of our family. Thank you for including us in your amusing and entertaining interests and pursuits. We certainly did not have a dull moment with you around as a kid.

Thank you, above all, for adding meaning and warmth to our lives with your presence for twenty years. Thank you for leaving your foot mark on our hearts and souls. I wish you were alive to let us be a part of the rest of your life, to teach us new experiences, to let us watch as your intelligence, talents and creativity would take you to new heights.

Thank you my lovely Shahdi. Because of you, I can truly claim that I once had every parent's dream child. Thank you for letting us enjoy the feeling of being on the top of the world for so many long years - although it did not last forever. Even though we now are lodged in the lowest pit of the valley, but the memories of how it felt to be at the highest peak, give us strength to tolerate our current entrapment in the land of sorrow.

Thank you for being the bright rainbow in our sky for so many wonderful years...

Thank you sweetheart for letting us be the "Mommy" and "Daddy" of such a unique and lovely human being.

You are forever in our hearts my darling,…and loved.
